Why I'm using DigitalOcean?

Why I'm using DigitalOcean?

DigitalOcean is one of the biggest cloud compute platform and have a lot of one-click apps. These apps are really very useful for us. Because, if we need to try something in a Linux we just create a droplet and click to the needed app in the marketplace tab. Well, our job is done. Wait for a few seconds and after that enjoy it!

I sent an email to the DigitalOcean sponsorship team a few days ago and I kindly asked for DigitalOcean credits for a new course about Kubernetes. Lorraine (one of the DigitalOcean sponsorship team) accept my offer. They are really kind people. Helped me so much.

I'm using DigitalOcean because, many options offering me. Such as Droplet's, Managed Databases, Spaces, Kubernetes, Load Balancers, Block Storage, One-Click Apps. For example, this site (volkantasci.com) published in a DigitalOcean droplet. And price is very normal for a cloud compute platform.

If you wanna create a droplet DigitalOcean offering you 12 different locations for your droplet.

The other reason why I love DigitalOcean is simplicity. Droplet's, clusters, domains, spaces, whatever think you are, it has a really simple control panel. If you wanna change something you can just click some buttons and that is all. And the number of these buttons very small.

Take a look at this droplet's control panel.

As you see, we can easily resize our droplet's.

The other reason is documentation. DigitalOcean documents are very useful. If you wanna build something with DigitalOcean services just type and search on this documentation: https://www.digitalocean.com/docs/

Well, let's talk about prices. DigitalOcean billing per hour. So, if you just try something you don't need to pay all month. This is really important for me. Because I wonder many apps and I wanna try it. So, I'm easily creating and testing it.

The last thing I wanna say, you can try DigitalOcean demo for 60 days. Let's look at how it is.
